Exercisable options

Exercisable options are stock options wherein at a given date, the employee can "exercise" or convert the shares for a fixed price. An exercisable option typically requires completion of a vesting schedule and/or performance milestones (in the case of employment), thus allowing employees to exercise their options until they become fully vested and at which point the options become shares that have acquired market value.
