Exercise Period

Exercise period refers to the period of time that a stock option holder may purchase stock at the exercise price. This period is established in the Stock Option Agreement and/or Stock Incentive Plan and typically has a ten-year duration unless the person ceases performing services. In such case, the duration for exercising the stock option is shortered depending on the reason the services were ceased.
