Proof of Concept

A proof of concept (POC) is an exercise wherein work focuses on determining if an idea is feasible and has potential. The goal of a POC is not to check if there is a market demand for such a concept or the most effective way of producing it. The ones involved in this exercise can also further explore the idea’s financial potential. This requires time and other resources, including needed physical components or supporting technologies.
