You can do this by increasing emotional buy-in among workers. There are three great ways to do this:
Great mission and vision. If your workers can identify with the value that the company is bringing into the world, that's a huge motivator.
Inspiring leadership. People want to work with people that inspire them. Founders or owners can inspire workers through encouragement, empathy and making them feel like they're a part of the company’s goals and struggles.
Developing an ownership mindset. People want to improve anything that they own and automatically try to improve it. Equity allows the development of an ownership mindset as it provides workers a real stake in the company.
